Julian is the man! If you don't read the rest of this - just know your search for a contractor is over. If he has time (because contractors like Julian don't go without work) this will be the best decision you've made in the entire project.

Julian helped me and my girlfriend renovate our first home. It was a $120k home and we put $75k into it. We knew absolutely nothing, were scared, and needed someone to lean on. We were so lucky to have found Julian. He was patient, communicative, descriptive, understanding, knowledgable, and creative. Him and his team did amazing work from start to finish. During the project, when problems arose, Julian quickly and simply explained to me what was going on and gave me options on moving forward.

I know a project isn't going to go perfect, but never once did I feel Julian was misleading me or playing me for a fool. He went above and beyond, not just in terms of quality of their work, but to ensure I was pleased with where we were at and how things were going.

Ok - now here's the best part. We did A LOT of work - this house was barely livable when we started and afterwards it's one of the most promising on the block (we still have a bit of planned work to do).  He and his guys got it all done in just 3.5 months. Julian doesn't mess around!

I use Core 1 for plumbing 4 pedicures chairs and 3 sink installation. They work in the evening to keep the noise level down during the day. They put in a new water heater and did some lead testing and cleaned up lead. The company was so professional and communication was a key factor between owner and client. 1. Job was about a year ago. We had a pretty long “wish list” of repairs and installs.  All jobs were done very well and to our satisfaction. Everyone was professional and did great work. We’re very happy with 1Core Construction and would use them again without hesitation. And recommend you to use them too for any work you need done. 2. Early spring 2022 was a job changing a wood 10x10 deck to a 10x12 composite deck. 3. About June of 2022 repairing the wood frame around the garage doors. 4.  End of July 2022 bathroom remodel. And I love it. Everyone that has come to see it is really impressed and jealous. Julian is great to work with. Makes great suggestions and listen’s to what you want done. The nicest crew you'll ever meet. They did not rush us and gave us time to make choices for items we wanted. They Understood our budget and stayed well within our goal not maxing us out. They were on time everytime. Went to great lengths to Explain in great detail how they will work. What their doing. Why its being done certain way.etc... Left behind a very clean work site. Everyone was a Fast worker actually working. Even took time after they job to grade the land where our basement is; so the rain can go down the hill and not flood our basement. They hauled away old gutters and shingles and put up new ones that looks AWESOME! Never had to worry about trash. We have 6 kids and 2dogs. They took every safety protocol to make sure they were safe before, during, and after the construction when installing roof as the kids were going and coming back from school. We had a hole in your ceiling and it has not leaked an since the work has been done. They sister joist the beam for extra support and put down new ply wood vs. Just going back over the the old one and calling it a day. They did the job right the 1st time so we can live sleep in peace knowing it's mold free. They got to the source of all our problems.
